Our Story

How did we get to be doing this?

Key Stage Contacts began life as Already Labelled back in 2013. It was founded by Adam Rood who trained at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2008.

Following this, Adam worked in various part time and full time theatre schools as a tutor, whilst working as a performer. In 2010, he set up Key Stage Theatre, with an aim to changing the way that Theatre-In-Education impacted students in Schools.

This business has grown year on year and productions and workshops have been enjoyed by over 80,000 young people.

Adam also runs a part time theatre school for Primary Students called ‘The Drama Club’¬†with partner Rosie.

He initially set up the business, having struggled to send 200 invitations out to Casting Directors, in the middle of rehearsals for one of the shows he was involved with. It literally took hours on top of learning lines and all of the other actory-stuff that becomes so time consuming.

“I thought there had to be a better way, so I tried this.”

He lives with Rosie and their two daughters, Gracie & Poppy.
